I just learned how to dance the cha cha by myself. Now where in the Bay Area can I go to boogie? I don’t have a partner but I’d like to find one there and dance with. I know a little bit of Samba, Jive, and Rumba too so it’d be nice if this place provide such music and dances.

René est artiste. Son atelier est installé dans la salle d’un dancing désaffecté. C’est là qu’il travaille et vit avec son compagnon. Tout va bien, et pourtant pas si bien que ça. Ni le travail, ni les distractions. C’est en train de tourner à l’idée fixe. René est chaque jour plus obsédé par des signes imperceptibles, que sa raison rejette. Mais un beau jour, tout bascule : René se retrouve alors nez à nez avec son double…

The Latin Alternative Music Conference engaged hundreds of participants, industry leaders and guests as it raided New York City, July 10-14. Throughout the 8th annual conference, the interactive Zune Lounge hosted appearances by major Latin performers, such as Spain's Mala Rodriguez and bilingual Latino trio, The Dey. Relaying the importance of the digital platform, Javier Farfan of Microsoft Zune participated in an exciting panel discussing the landscape of online media efforts and its impact for musicians and their fans. The conference concluded with a stellar performance by Mexican rock group, Café Tacuba, at Rumsey's Playfield on Central Park's SummerStage to much fanfare and support.
