I was confused too. … I was confused too. I thought the woman was going to sink like the Titanic or something..haha. It’s referring to the MUCH too influential film, when Leonardo Di Caprio stands at the bow of the ship and spreads his arms saying “I’m the King of the World!”
nemeczek93 I … nemeczek93 I wondered what sort of person makes a comment lke this.
Do you not understand ? The Anthony Persaud videos are about learning to Salsa Dance in a social/club setting. It is not meant to be compared to the show dances that you have in your favourites.
Persaud is a great teacher.
CONGRATULATIONS TO … CONGRATULATIONS TO P. DIDDY
CONGRATULATIONS, you left THE BAD BOY LATINO PROJECT in time. THE ESTEFAN FAMILY JUST TRIED TO ABUSE HIS NAME FOR THEIR MONEY LAUNDERING. Despite the allegation in my blog, no one of more than thousand HOLLAND AND KNIGHT LAWYERS was allowed to file lawsuit against me. Not even the super-lawyers Michael Sikora and J. Hernandez-Toraño. 1st because Im right with my allegation, and 2nd because they are as ridiculous, as MR F. AMADEO is. Details see dalva-d.blogspot
I like the guy and … I like the guy and his instructions. I have watched some short videos from this guy and really feel attractive by his way. It seems to be easy to learn and practice. I’ve found some good instruction videos to follow but pity that I couldnt do without a partner, just came back to the dance lessons today in a dance sport class but seems doesnt effect cause the girls are too crowded there. How I can? I love dancing really.
whats the song you … whats the song you use in the background of your videos, its an excellent piece I’d love to practice with.
On your site you have a violin solo which is equally good, but its only 1:38, is there a longer version (or looped track) for either of these pieces? (or both)
you moved to San … you moved to San diego sweet! Let me know if you plan to open a studio Im in LA. Love the new partner, and the previous one … well i like em all.
The major … The major difference is the NY style breaks on2 (2nd & 6th beat) a style made famous by Eddie Torres. all the technique and patterns are the same. The difference is where in the measure of the music you decide to break forward and back which make learning on2 a little more challenging if you are used to dancing on1.
I wanted to thank … I wanted to thank you for the lessons. my wife and I practice on your videos all the time. I’ve always wanted to learn, being salsa is in my veins (San Sebastian, PR). and your instructions are great, keep it going. One question how different is LA salsa from PR or New York salsa?
thanks
it just … thanks
it just irritated me in the beginning, when you were dancing to that song (I just assume it’s you) I thought at the beginning, if you didn’t have rhythm, or if the song would have been added lateron to the video…
I never heard or saw, that salsa could be danced on 2 xD
that I only knew from mambo
but I guess, every day you learn something new
Yes. In the … Yes. In the introduction we dance on2 (breaking on 2). Dancing on1 is acceptable, the only difference is the numbers – the move should remain the same. On1 and On2 are just two different styles in timing of salsa.
