Whats the difference between Salsa and Latin Dancing?

25th November 2009

And which one is better???

Salsa is Street Latin Very Vibrant and on the Go & Sexy
Latin is all of the above but perhaps not as vibrant but still enjoyable, still sexy but not displayed as out there like Street Latin (more subdued) but only initially once you have progressed and perhaps into competitions, Latin becomes very Sexy
Latin also includes Jive which is much fun. There is one dance you have heard of "Paso Doble" this is only a medal and competition dance not social.

salsa is a street latin dance – very sexy, danced close and the steps arnt as technically danced as some other dances.

salsa – one of the 5 latin dances in ballroom (rumba, samba, cha cha jive & pasodoble.) these dances are both social and competition dances. the salsa is a Vibrant dance.

better – its a individual choice, salsa is more sensual and fun 2 dance i think.
